ROTWILD USER MANUAL | 2014
When the brake pad thickness is below 0.9 mm,
have your brake pads replaced by a qualified
professional workshop.
Potential accident risk
Worn brake pads cannot provide sufficient
braking performance, and may also lead to
damage to your brake discs.
•
Measuring the thickness of the brake pads
requires the removal of the wheels.
•
Open the calliper as far as possible with
a 5 mm allen key until the brake pads are
accessible.
•
Push the pads out of their recessed mounting
and pull them out of the calliper assembly.
•
The brake pads must be replaced if the pad
thickness is less than 0.9 mm.

Warranty frames
The following warranty regulations apply only to the
primary owner. They are not transferable.
To frames, which have been assembled or sold by an
authorized ROTWILD dealer, we grant an equivalent
replacement for 2 years in case of a broken frame.
If the product is registered online at www.rotwild.de
within 30 days after purchase date, the warranty is
extended from 2 to 3 years. Damages, which occur
due to regular wear and abrasion, are not covered.
Material fatigue can occur due to regular use. It is
the owner’s area of responsibility, to check the bike
regularly. The warranty expires if the damage can be
traced back to accidents, inappropriate use, lack of
maintenance, improper assembly or the assembly of
different parts. Any modification of the frame or the
components (drilling, sawing, filing, sanding, etc.) will
lead to an expiration of the warranty.
When the frames are used beyond the area of applica-
tion we categorically oppose any warranty claim. All
components, which have been originally assembled
by us, and all forks and rear shocks are subject to the
warranty regulations of the manufacturer / importer.
Reclamations are to be processed directly with them,
presenting the sales receipt.
Extendes warranty / good will
After expiration of the two / three year warranty we
offer an extended good will to the primary owner. This
is valid in case of broken frames due to material or
constructional faults and for intended use. In case of
damage the customer gets a discount on an equiva-
lent frame. The discount is orientated by the age and
the general condition of the broken frame.
The discount is divided as follows:
• Up to 1 year after expiration of the warranty:
40%-50%.
• 1 to 2 years after expiration of the warranty:
30%-40%.
The assembly costs arising during the good will
time frame, are to be covered by the customer. ADP
Engineering will not cover any costs for assembly or
reconstruction within this period.
The warranty expires for any frame, which has been
abused, for which the frame number has been chan-
ged, made illegible, or has been removed.
