Headtracker Set Up and Information
Set Up
Once the chair has been set up and is powered on, you can pair the headtracker with the
base by switching the headtracker on with the power button in the middle of the
headtracker.
When the headtracker is on, pushing the button on the side of the headtracker will put it
into headtracking mode. Pushing this button at the same time as the headtracking button
on the base will pair them together.
Colour Coding
The headtracker has a range of colours to denote what is currently happening with it.
Flashing blue
–
ready to pair/ tracking mode activated
Flashing green
–
paired
Flashes blue then red on start-up
–
battery low
Flashing red
–
low battery/charging (when plugged in)
Solid green
–
charged
If the headtracker is showing a solid blue, please pop it on charge for a few seconds, as this
will reset it for you.
If you are seeing the headtracker flashing red when charging and flashing green once it’s
charged, it will be worth making sure that the headtracker is not paired to another
Bluetooth device close to it.
Headtracking Mode
Once the headtracker has been paired and put on the headset, you can then enter
headtracking mode.
To do this, ensure that you are sat on the seat, facing directly forwards. From there, push
the pairing button once (it doesn’t need to be a long hold), and listen for two beeps. Only
when the two beeps have stopped can you turn your head. If you do it before, the
calibration will be out. Please see the troubleshooting section if this does happen to you.
