Inspection
At least once per year, every six months in school and hotel buildings:

Inspect safety-relevant hardware components
for wear.
Check that all movable parts work properly.
Check that all locking points work properly.
The hardware’s ease of movement can be
checked on the door handle:

– Ease of movement can be improved by
greasing / lubricating or adjusting the
hardware.
