Intended Use
The gas heater has been designed for private use and for the following hobby
and DIY applications:
- For outdoor heating
The gas heater should only be used in accordance with the instructions and
safety information in this operating manual. Any other use or use that goes
beyond this is prohibited. Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer accepts
responsibility for any damage, loss or injury resulting from improper use of the
gas heater. Examples of improper use include the following, in particular:
- Indoor use
- Any use beyond the specified intended use.
- Failure to follow the safety, assembly, operating, cleaning and maintenance
instructions given in this operating manual
- Failure to observe the health, safety and accident prevention regulations that
are applicable to use of this gas heater.
- Use of accessories and spare parts which are not suitable for this gas heater.
- Changes made to the gas heater
- Excessive use
Anyone using or maintaining this gas heater has to be familiar with these
instructions and be aware of potential hazards. This gas heater should only be
used by a skilled person - if in doubt ask an expert for advice.
Failure to follow the safety, installation and operating instructions when using this
gas heater is considered as improper use. All the applicable health and safety
regulations have to be followed. All other applicable local and national laws have
to be complied with. The gas heater should not be modified. Any unauthorised
modification increases the risk of injury or damage to property.
Residual risks
Residual risks cannot be completely ruled out even in case of proper use. The
following risks may arise due to the nature of the gas heater:
- Damage to the gas hose if it comes into contact with hot parts or with the
flame (risk of fire and explosion)
- Burn injuries caused by touching hot parts of the gas heater or the flame
(burns)
