2. POSSIBLE MALFUNCTIONS
Irregularity Cause What should be done?
The unit does not
start
No power. Wait for the power to return.
Unit not connected to
an electrical outlet. Check if the plug is in
the socket.
The fuse has blown. Replace the fuse.
Remote control batteries are off

Replace the batteries.
Incorrect time setting for the timer.
Wait or cancel the
timer setting.
Unit no
cools/heats
(units only
cooling and
heating)
