Description
The battery charging unit can only be used with the APROE Akku Pack
25,2V / 5.0Ah Li-Ion 7S2P battery power unit.
Status display
The battery charging unit has a status display which shows the follow

the status of the power unit being charged (on the right of the display
position B).

The area A on the left of the LED status display shows the status of the
battery charging unit.
Red
, continuously on, power is switched on
Red
, flashing, the battery charging unit is not functioning correctly

The area B on the right of the LED status display shows the status
of the power unit being charged.
Green
, continuously ON, the power unit is being charged
Green
, flashing, the power unit is fully charged
Red
, continuously ON, the power unit is defect or the supply voltage
does not reach the necessary voltage input level
Orange
, flashing, the power unit is being checked, only lasts for approx. 1 minute
Preparing for use the first time
Check that the battery charging unit is complete and not damaged. Do not use the battery charging unit if it is damaged: in
this case contact Akku Power.
Charging the power unit
Plug the mains plug of the battery charging unit into a mains plug socket. The red LED on the left side of the status display
will light up to show that the equipment is switched on. Insert the power unit into the adaptor until the power unit is locked
firmly in place. An orange LED will first of all flash to show that the power unit type is being checked. The green LED on the
left side will light up to show that the power unit is being charged.
PLEASE NOTE
• The maximum capacity of the power unit will only be reached when it has been charged and discharged several times.
• The power unit can remain attached to the charging unit for an unlimited time, it is protected against overcharging.
• When not being used, we recommend that the power unit remains connected to the charging unit. When the power unit is
fully charged, the charging unit automatically switches on and off in order to maintain the battery at 100% charge.
Charging time
The charging period depends on several factors, for example:
the discharged level of the power unit, the temperature of the power unit or the age of the power unit
After use
Check that the battery charging unit is complete and undamaged. Do not use the equipment if it is damaged; in this case,
contact Akku Power. If necessary, clean the charging unit.
