Note:
Please ensure that no liquid gas escapes during refilling. Large quantities
can cause frostbite on the skin.
Press the refill cartridge a few millimeters into the gas valve
of the Kitchen Torch. A light sound of hissing will be heard
as the Kitchen Torch reservoir is being filled. Spurts of liquid
gas emitted during refilling indicate that the adaptor ring is
inappropriate or that the reservoir is already full.
After a maximum of 10 seconds, interrupt the refilling and
pause for a few seconds. Repeat the process as described
earlier for a further 10 seconds. The reservoir of the Kitchen
Torch is now full.
After refilling, the Kitchen Torch should be left to rest for
two minutes to allow the refilled gas to warm up and also to
permit any gas that has escaped to disperse. Do not touch
the ignition button during this period as time must lapse to
render the instrument fit and safe for use.
Note:
The Kitchen Torch should never be lit directly after refilling since gas may
have escaped during refilling and could ignite, leading to burns and injury.
