tray and connect the outlet pipe by fixing it to the plastic tray (drainage). Switch on the water purifier
and check for any leaks.
(Observe the rules issued by the relevant authorities for each state,
region or county)
. For optimal use of the appliance, check that the water supply pressure exceeds
1 bar (100 kPa) and be less than 6 bar (600 kPa). If the incoming water pressure exceeds 6 bar, we
recommend to use a pressure reducer.
4)
Before start-up the fitter must make sure the machine has been properly connected to the electrical
and earthing systems involved and check the efficiency of protection from direct contact.
In Europe connect the approved cord H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm with the Schuko plug to the electricity
supply.
In USA-Canada connect the approved cord Type SJTO, rated 3x14 AWG, 300 V, 105°C with the
NEMA 5x15P plug to the electricity supply.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO USE THE MACHINE WITHOUT EFFECTIVE SAFE
EARTHING.
4c. Equipment with 7 Liters Boiler, with water supply connection
If your machine is to be connected to the mains water supply call a specialized techni-
cian.
3)
Connect the cleaner to the external motor pump through the flexible pipe (3/8”). After, connect the
motor pump to the flexible pipe coming out from the equipment (use only pipes approved for potable
water as required by Italian Ministerial Decree 21.03.73 and later amendments). Remove the front
tray and connect the outlet pipe by fixing it to the plastic tray (drainage).
NB
: In case that the equipment of internal motor pump provided is, connect the cleaner to the com-
ing out flexible pipe (3/8”).
4)
Electrical installation of the machine must be carried out exclusively by
qualified personnel
,
according to the instructions in this manual and the standards in force in the country of installation.
The machine comes with a suitably tested 2.5 m long H07RN-F 5x2.5 mm
2
power lead to which
the fitter must connect an EN 60309 approved 3P+N+PE 16A - 400V industrial plug (not provided).
Another type of power lead could be provided
if required by the customer or local standards.
As an alternative the fitter may connect the power lead to an omnipole circuit breaker with character-
istics suitable for the electrical system involved, the standards in force in the country of installation and
IEC 60364-1. Before start-up the fitter must make sure the machine has been properly connected to
the electrical and earthing systems involved and check the efficiency of protection from direct contact,
as per IEC 60364-1.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO USE THE MACHINE WITHOUT EFFECTIVE SAFE
EARTHING.
5. MACHINE IGNITION, SELECTOR 0,1
If the machine is new, it is advisable that you let the water circulate through the system:
turn the water knob and fill a jug with at least 0.5 litres water.
1)
Rotate the switch knob to position 1. The red indicator light comes on.
2)
When the machine is switched on, the electronic card checks water level inside the boiler. After
approx. 3 seconds, the filling pump and solenoid valve are enabled for filling.
3)
In position 1 the coffee machine will automatically be filled with water up to the pre-set level (level
probe inside the boiler).
