•
Axial fans with square inlet cone plate (series DQ)
−
Installation only on a flat surface on the drilled holes in the inlet cone plates
installation on an uneven surface may lead to deformation of the wall ring
and may result in the impeller rubbing the fan casing.
•
Axial fans with installation flange in either direction (series DR)
−
These fans are preferred to be installed in duct systems
installation on an uneven surface may lead to deformation of the wall ring
and may result in the impeller rubbing the fan casing.
•
Axial fans without casing (with or without protection guard)
Note that the impeller must rotate freely.
The space between rotating and fixed parts has to be at least 1% of the diame-
ter of the impeller but not less than 2mm.
The ringshaped gap between blade wheel and wallplate/casing has to be even.
•
Any installation position is possible for all types and sizes.
−
Hole draw for condensate in rotor resp. stator must be clear.
When mounting with vertical shaft the hole for drain of condensate on the
bottom must be opened. The hole for drain of condensate on the top must
be closed.
