Explosion proof axial fans were especially developed for the use in explosive areas.
The use of external rotor motors offers significant technical advantages compared to
conventional axial fans. All axial fans are continuously speed controlable in a voltage
range of 25 % - 100 % of the rated current and are statically and dynamically bal-
anced in our factory. The motors fulfil the requirements for protection type „e“     en-
creased safety and are certified as EEx e II T3, due its attestation of conformity. With
regard to possible breakdowns rotating and stationary components which could
come in contact are made of materials that reduce the danger of ignition and friction
sparks.

Motor data for the optimally cooled motor are listed on the
metallic data plate. These data are content of the PTB attestation
of conformity. Fan data are listed on the fan data plate (sticker).
In order to obtain a good speed graduation with voltage control it
is possible to select motors whose rated voltage is higher than
the rated voltage of the fan.
