Direct driven axial fans explosion proof

  Electric wiring must be in accordance with technical connection regulations and 

local regulations and national electric codes as per enclosed wiring diagram in the 
terminal box or on the casing. 

 

Ex- proof fans are supplied with 1m cable (from the casing) as a standart 

 

Connection according to the wiring casing (data plate on fan casing) 

 

Insert cable according to rules in Ex junction box (  Accessories) and seal it 
(possibly „Water bag“) 

 

Connect PTC for motor protection properly to a PTB-tested tripping device        
according to PTB 3.53 PTC/A 

 

Connect equipotential bording system accordingly

The motor protection through PTC temperature 
sensors records all anomaly operating conditions 
and outside influences and disconnects the motor 
from the mains supply in case of any disturbance. 
Do not connect PTC to mains supply! 
Standart motor protection switches must not be 
used! 
A reset locking device has to be connected at the
