Operation
Spray / Bar Circulate Mode (Bar
Circulate)
This mode circulates the hot asphalt through the
spraybar and is used to heat the spraybar and
nozzles prior to spraying (
) Review these
instructions and follow them to insure the safety of the
operator and to maintain a safe working environment
1 Be sure that the material temperature is high
enough to prevent setting up in the pump, plumbing
and spraybar Heat it before starting if it is at the
low end of the operating range,

2 Set the Plus One Controller Master switch ON to
)
3 Set the Plus One Controller Auto/Manual selection
to AUTO and the Pump Control priority selection
to FRONT The Controller will then control the
circulation rate
NOTE: This rate was set at the factory to 30 GPM (113.6
LPM)
4 Turn the Mode Selection to the SPRAY/BAR
CRCLT
Do not open spray nozzles . Asphalt
spray will occur . Contact with hot asphalt can cause
severe burns .
Beware of hot material in lines .
Wear protective clothing, gloves and a face shield .
Contact with hot asphalt can cause severe burns .
5 Push the Spraybar Master switch UP to the BAR
CRCLT position
6 Before starting to spray, run for at least 5 minutes at
30 GPM (113 6 LPM) for emulsion, or 75 - 100 GPM
(183 9 - 378 5 LPM) for cutbacks, to be sure that
the spraybar, nozzles and other components have
warmed up
7 The unit is ready to spray
