BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE:
1. Check to make sure the circuit breaker is operating.
2. Light bulbs may become loose during shipping. If the flame effect is dim or does not operate properly at first,
ensure that the light bulbs are properly secured in the sockets (bulbs should be finger tight; don
’t over-tighten)

“Replacing Light Bulb” section of this manual for instructions.
3. The electrical information regarding this appliance can be found on the rating plate located on the back of the
unit
PLUGGING IN THE HEATER:
1. Make sure the appliance main switch

is switched OFF (refer to operating instruction section).
2. Plug the unit into a 15 Amp / 120 V outlet.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE:
1. When you first turn the heater on, it may emit a slight but harmless odour. This odour results from certain oils or
greases being heated as the appliance is used for the first time. This odour is perfectly safe and will stop shortly
after the first use. It will not re-occur after the first operation of the appliance.
2. This appliance comes equipped with an overheat protection safety device. Should the appliance begin to
overheat for any reason, it will automatically turn all heater functions of the appliance off. The appliance will
have to be reset prior to being used again. To reset the overheat protection safety device, turn all controls off
and unplug the appliance; wait 10 minutes, plug the appliance back in and turn on.
