Servicing and maintenance
The Romus stripper requires practically no maintenance if you take care. Lightly grease the blade
holder slides from time to time (approximately every 500 m2). The grease nipples provided are
located on the right-hand and left-hand sides of the frame (see the illustration). During operation,
the surplus grease will coat any dirt particles which despite the protective housing penetrate inside
the components. Only operate the grease pump 3-4 times.
Under no circumstances inject grease until you feel resistance as this will block the movement of
the blade

Replacing the driving wheels
Disconnect the machine before carrying out any removal operation

Tilt the machine to the side so it rests on the ground on the side panel
Remove the screw and the washer of the roller and remove the roller
Remove the screw and the washer of the driving wheel and remove the wheel
Ensure that the key is in its slot and put the new wheel in place
Refit the screw and the washer of the driving wheel and tighten the screw
Refit the roller, its washer and screw, and tighten the screw
Tilt the machine onto the other side panel and proceed in the same way.
