Adjusting the blade angle
If the machine passes over the covering or leaves the underlay on the floor, increasing the angle of
the blade may improve removal. It is important to note that the steeper the angle of the blade, the
quicker it will wear so you should try to work with the smallest angle possible.
1. Disconnect the machine
2. Remove the weights (see Fitting weights on page 11 )
3. Loosen the blade holder locking screws by two turns
Position the block provided flat on the floor
4. Tilt the machine backwards by pressing down on the handle and place it on the block so that
the blade is not touching the floor
5. Ensure the machine is in a stable position.
6. Pivot the blade holder to the desired position
7. Lightly tighten the locking screws
8. Tilt the machine back to normal position
9. Ensure that only the point of the cutting edge of the blade is in contact with the floor
10. Tighten all the blade screws firmly using the wrench
