Installation
Choose an appropriate location. You will require two nearby electrical wall sockets.
1.
Attach the mirrors to the walls of your corner:
-
Measure your wall first, allowing for the bottom of the mirror to be
approximately 5cm below the top of the cushioned platform. Usually a mirror
this size would be sat on top of the skirting board.
-
First attach the board to the wall, then the mirror to the board. Fit one board with
mirror to the wall at a time.
-
Unless the wall is already boarded, the board supplied should be fixed to the wall and
the screws countersunk. Place screws/cups every 30cm, approximately 1cm in from
edge.
-
Attach the mirror panels to the board using a good quality, proprietary brand
contact adhesive or double sided tape e.g. Evo-Stick. The edges should be securely
glued/taped in. It is your responsibility to check that the adhesive you use is
adequate to hold the mirror, and that a sufficient amount is used at the edges and
at regular intervals across the whole of the back of the mirror. Apply plenty of tape
or glue. If using glue, spread the glue over the back before attaching the board.
Seek professional advice if in any doubt. You may wish to screw the mirror to the
board – if so, please choose appropriate tools and fixings. Whichever fixing method
is chosen, use enough tape/glue/screws to make sure the mirror does not warp.
-
Remove the protective film.
