5. To hang your Tube Swing, place both long blue loops through a Southpaw Safety Snap
(13799) and hang the Safety Snap in the desired location. The use of a Safety Snap and
Safety Rotational Device is essential.
IMPORTANT SAFETY ASPECTS
1.
All equipment including the Suspension System should be regularly checked. (See
Maintenance Checklist.)
2. All Sensory Integration equipment must be used under professional supervision.
3. The user should always wear a safety helmet with all suspended equipment.
4. A crash mat of the appropriate thickness should be placed under all suspended equipment.
5. Assess the need for wall matting also and use as required.
6. Only Steel Safety Snaps should be used. Aluminium Safety Snaps present a health hazard and
wear more quickly.
7. For indoor use only.
This product is not a toy. Any activity involving motion, height, or rotation may cause serious
injury. This product is intended for use under the supervision of trained professionals.
Always supervise the use of these products.
MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST
All parts of the Tube Swing and its Suspension System should be checked on a monthly basis and
a record kept on a Maintenance Sheet.
If wear is found the Tube Swing should not be used. Worn parts should be replaced or repaired
immediately.
On the Tube Swing check for:
•
wear on the locking Safety Snap
NOTE: If wear exceeds 30% of the diameter of the Safety Snap do not use.
•
efficient working of the locking Safety Snap. If it does not work properly discontinue use.
•
Fraying or wear of loops.
•
wear on the Harness
