How to operate your appliance
1. Switching on
• Position the grill plate correctly on the frame and place the pans on the practical parking surface.
• Then connect the mains plug to a suitable socket. The LEDs light up and show that the appliance is ready
for use. The diodes are glowing as long as the appliance is switched on, independent of the selected
temperature.
• Now turn the temperature regulator clock-wise to MAX and pre-heat for 10 minutes.
Warning:
The grill plate becomes hot during use. Therefore, be aware of the hazard of burns when
touching!
2. Grilling and raclette
• After heating up the appliance, slide in the filled pans just up to the set stop (cavity in the raclette level).
CAUTION, HOT!
When inserting the pans mind not to touch the hot edge of the grill plate!
• The temperature can be infinitely adjusted according to requirements.
• By means of the spatulas, the food in the pans can be moved or the cheese can be pushed out. You can
also use other utensils made of wood or plastic. However, make sure that they do not have longer
contact with hot parts. Do not at all use cutlery made of metal as otherwise the non-stick coating may be
damaged.
• Never heat up empty pans and never put empty pans in the hot Raclette level as overheating might cause
damage to the non-stick coating.
•
Note:
Always park the pans not in use on the practical parking surface when taking breaks from eating.
This ensures a gentle treatment of the non-stick coating.
•
Warning:
Do not cut or scratch on the grill plate and in the pans. Scratched or superheated pans or grill
plates are not covered by warranty.
