Operating the appliance
Standby mode
• Connect the mains plug with the power
socket.
• The display (4) shows “OFF“ and an
acoustic signal is audible.
The control is in standby mode.
Switching-on
• Position suitable cookware on the middle
of the cooking zone.
• For switching-on touch the main switch (1).
The display (4) shows “
00
“ and the LEDs
“power“ (7) and “temp“ (6) are flashing.
• Now decide on the cooking mode you
would like to work with (either “power
level“ or “temperature level“).
NOTE:
If there is no further activation within 60 seconds after switch-on, the control will switch
back to the standby mode.
Cooking in “power level“ mode
The “power level” mode is ideal for boiling water and for steaming.
• For cooking in the “power level” mode touch
the “power“ sensor (7).
The appliance automatically switches to the
power level “06“. The display (4) shows
“06“ and the LED “power“ (8b) is lit
continuously.
NOTE:
In case the appliance had not been
separated from the mains after its previous
use the display shows, as a suggestion, the
power lever as lastly set.
• By touching the “+“ sensor (3) you can
increase the power up to level 10.
• By touching the “-“ sensor (5) you can
reduce the power down to level 01.
Priority regulation
Although any other sensor is still activated, the appliance may be brought to the standby mode
at any time during operation by touching the associated main switch sensor.
By default the “power level” mode is displayed by the figures “01” to “10”. By simultaneously
touching the “+” and “-“ sensors for 3 seconds the display switches over to show the power va-
lues instead of the power levels; this means for example that “200” is displayed instead of “01”
and “1000” instead of “06” etc.. This format is valid until the user will set it back. The selected
display format remains saved also after switch-off. Only after pulling the mains plug or a cut-off
from the mains there is a reset of the control to the default format with the figures “01” to “10”.
