ISSUE: A

Mounting to Heavy Duty Roof Racks (RCLSH)

NOTE: To install LSH, remove End Cap and Buffer Strip from 

Cross Bar. Refer to Roof Rack Fitting Instructions for assistance.

A. Insert the Channel Nut between the two tabs on the underside of 

the Heavy Duty Adaptor (Fig 3a). 

NOTE: The grooved features of the Channel Nut must face upward 

toward the underside of the Adaptor.

B. Insert the M8 bolt through the large flat washer and plastic LSH 

Fastener Hole. Engage the bolt into the Channel Nut by 2 or 3 turns 

(Fig 3b).

C. Align the LSH to the Cross Bar channel and insert to required

location (Fig 3c).

D. Tighten the M8 bolt to approximately 8Nm. DO NOT OVER 

TIGHTEN. 

Repeat this procedure for the remaining parts.

NOTE: Once the LSH components have been completely 

assembled to the Cross Bars, place the End Caps and Rubber Buffer 

Strips back into the Cross Bars. The Rubber Buffer Strip will require 

cutting to fill the Cross Bar Channel. 

Mounting to Universal Roof Racks (LSHU)

NOTE: To install LSH, remove End Cap and Buffer Strip from 

Cross Bar. Refer to Roof Rack Fitting Instructions for assistance.

 

A. Insert the Square Head Bolt through the underside of the plastic 

LSH Fastener Hole (Fig 4a). 

B. Place the Flat Washer over the threaded end of the M6 Square 

Head Bolt. Engage the Hex Nut onto the M6 Square Head Bolt 

thread by 2 or 3 turns (Fig 4b). 

C. Align the LSH to the Cross Bar channel and insert to required

location (Fig 4c).

D. Tighten the M6 Hex Nut to approximately 6Nm (Fig 4d). 

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. 

Repeat this procedure for the remaining parts.

NOTE: Once the LSH components have been completely 

assembled to the Cross Bars, place the End Caps and Rubber Buffer 

Strips back into the Cross Bars. The Rubber Buffer Strip will require 

cutting to fill the Cross Bar Channel.

General Usage Instructions

DO NOT ATTACH RATCHET TIE DOWNS TO THIS PRODUCT.

 

Any weight carried on the roof of the vehicle will adversly affect its handling, 

particularly in cornering or in a crosswind and therefore the vehicle should be 

driven with increased discretion.
Regularly check the tightness of the securing clamps and the security of the 

load. To prevent movement, Loads should be evenly distributed and secured.
Be aware of the statutory requirements regarding maximum permissible 

projections from vehicles. Long loads such as ladders should always be 

additionally secured by tying down to the front and rear bumper bars or other 

suitable anchorage points of the vehicle.
