IDE1: Primary IDE Connector
An IDE drive ribbon cable has two
connectors to support two IDE devices.
If a ribbon cable connects to two IDE
drives at the same time, one of them
has to be configured as Master and the
other has to be configured as Slave by
setting the drive select jumpers on the
drive.
Consult the documentation that came with your IDE drive for details on jumper
locations and settings. You must orient the cable connector so that the pin 1
(color) edge of the cable corresponds to pin 1 of the IDE connector.
Connector type: 2.00mm pitch 2x22-pin box headers
