Starting the System
After a proper installation of the system you may start the
VENICE S system at any time.
Perform the following steps:

Press the power switch briefly to turn on the system.
The system will be started. It takes several minutes until
the system is fully operational.
For the initial setup the device must be integrated into a
network. If the IP of the device is already known a remote SSH
terminal (e.g. Putty) can be used to make the basic configura-
tion. Alternatively a monitor and keyboard can be temporarily
connected on the front or on the rear of the system. Continue
with chapter “Configuring the System” on page 67.
