5.3 Troubleshooting

solve the problem:
•
Check AC/DC adapter, battery and the power source.
•
Minimize the configuration, e.g., remove additional peripherals and devices.
•
Check the brightness settings of the display.
•
Make sure the display is not in NVIS or Invisible Mode
•
Set OSD default values (factory reset see chapter „4 OSD Menu“).
5.3.1 General troubleshooting
5.3.1.1 Display problems
The display is not working, nothing appears on the screen, display is too dark or bright.
•
Please make sure, no power saving options are active (several settings might turn off the display
after a specific period of time).
•
Please make sure the brightness settings are not set too dark or bright.
•
Please make sure the backlight is not turned off.
Some pixels are not working (constant black/white/discoloured).
•
A small number, depending on the screen size of the display, of not working pixels or sub pixels are
an intrinsic characteristic of all common LC displays. As long as the number of defective pixels are
not exceeding the number defined by pixel failure class II this is not considered a defect. This is a
physical limitation.
5.3.1.2 Sound problems
No sound audible.
•
Please make sure the volume is not set too low or deactivated.
•
Make sure the connected PC is not in standby or hibernation mode.
•
Make sure the Windows audio control is not set too low or deactivated.
•
Make sure the required audio drivers are installed correctly.
