Zone Interlock Protocol (ZIP)
Use the
Sel
key to select the ZIP data table field. Then use the
Right
/
Left
arrows
to select the second byte (the second “05”) in the data table. The display appears
as follows:
As mentioned earlier, use the
Sel
key to highlight the various ZIP configuration
parameters for this zone. The following screen shows the “Security” field
highlighted.
The following screen shows the Zone Security Key field highlighted.
When each byte in the ZIP data
table is highlighted, the bit of the
IO Msg field that is Mapped to that
byte is also highlighted.
Note: If Security is disabled, the field
for the Key will disappear.
This field allows the Security to be
enabled or disabled
If Security is Enabled, the last 2 bytes of
the I/O data from the node (Node 5)
must match the Key value. If not, all the
consumed I/O data will be ignored.
