Assembly
Read the assembly instructions completely before assembly.
1.
Slide Clip onto the stepped end of the Cap. The Clip may
only slide on a short distance before being pressed into
place. Do not attempt to force the Clip all the way onto the
Cap by hand as this may damage the parts.
2.
Press the Cap assembly into the end of the Upper Tube.
Make sure you choose the appropriate end of the tube to
preserve the pattern or grain match for your pen.
3.
Press the Center Coupler into the open end of the
Upper Tube.
4.
Press the Tip Coupler into the Lower Tube. The larger
diameter end of the Tip Coupler should be pressed into
place. If the fit is too loose, try the other end. Make sure you
choose the appropriate end of the tube to preserve the
pattern or grain match for your pen.
5.
Connect the Lower Tube by pressing it onto the other end
of the Center Coupler. Take care not to use excessive
force as this could cause the assembly to buckle.
6.
Insert the Pencil Mechanism into the Cap end of the
pencil until it stops. Thread the Tip onto the end of the
Pencil Mechanism to lock it into place.
7.
Slide the Cover over the eraser on the Pencil Mechanism to
protect the eraser and finish the pen.
8.
To advance the lead, press the Cover and release. To load
new lead, remove the Cover and pull out the eraser. Lead
size is 0.7mm.
