Bass control

8. Press 

the 

Tuning Up 

or

 Down buttons

 to cycle through the modes 

until "BASS" appears on the display. The current bass setting will be 
shown on the display.

9.  To adjust the bass setting press and release the 

Rewind or Fast-

forward buttons

 until the desired level is displayed.

10. Press the 

Select button

 to revert to the play mode display.

•  To quickly cancel the effect of the treble or bass settings press the 

Tuning Up 

or

 Down buttons 

until "Flat" appears on the display. The 

treble and bass settings will be remembered for the next time that you 
wish to adjust them.

Mute function (Remote control only)

Pressing the Mute button will mute the output from the loudspeakers.

1. Press 

the 

Mute button

 to mute the sound output. The speaker volume 

symbol on the display will disappear.

2. Press

 again or one of the

to un-mute 

the sound output.
