This device falls under protection class I.Therefore the REDPower 1•72 has to be
connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
4.2.Mounting the REDPower 1•72
The REDPower 1•72 can be placed on a non-flammable flat surface or clamped to a truss in any orientation.
There are two mounting holes of a diameter 13 mm in housing of the driver. Ensure that instalation place is
enough ventilated.Always use clamps to fasten the REDPower 1•7 on a truss.
4.3.Data cables
The data cables that connect the REDPowers each other are wired 1:1,that is,pins with the same numbers are
connected together. Only use a shielded twisted-pair cable designed for RS-485 and 5-pin XLR connectors.
