5. Installing the tailwheel
Glue the two wire tailwheel unit supports to the
mounting plate at the tail end of the fuselage using
Ropoxi 5-minute epoxy, as shown in the illustration.
Allow the glue to set hard, then temporarily install
the wire unit as shown.
The tailwheel is fitted permanently once the steering
pushrod has been deployed (see Fig. 6).
6. Installing the elevator and tailwheel pushrod
Thread both pushrods through the openings in the
fuselage. Connect the tailwheel steering arm and
the elevator horn to the appropriate pushrods. The
horn can now be glued permanently to the elevator
using cyano. Install the tailwheel steering linkage as
shown in Fig. 5.
If the pushrods are too short, solder a threaded
coupler to the servo end to extend them.
