2. Quick Installation
2.1. Main harness description: RDT401P main harness is 1 to 5, the schematic diagrams and
functions of each joint are as follows:

GPS Connection Cable - Used for connecting an external GPS antenna to position the
device, calculate the speed of the vehicle by GPS data, etc.
●
P2-five-core Plug (male) -
power IO - connect device power and IO communication
●
P3-six-core Plug (female) - Ethernet communication - Communication with RDT402P or
ethernet video terminal equipment
●
P4-four-core Plug (female) - analog video - analog video output, can connect the external display
to view the camera image
●
P5- five--core plug (female) -CAN+RS232/485-support RS232 or RS485 communication
protocol to realize data communication with the video terminal
2.2. Connect one end of the randomly-assigned P2 extension cord to the P2 main harness, and the
other end of the VIN, ACC, and GND lines (the VIN, ACC, and GND labels are attached to the line)
to the car power supply, if power is on, the device will automatically start up. The user can select
VIN to connect to ACC and ACC to the ignition signal of the vehicle. In this way, the device can
realize delayed shutdown after the vehicle is turned off. It can also connect the VIN and ACC to the
vehicle ignition signal to take power at the same time. If the vehicle is turned off, the device will be
automatically turned off.
