5.1 Safety information for assembly
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to improper assembly!
Improper installation and assembly can lead to severe
injuries and substantial property damage.
–
Before starting work, pull the mains plug and
ensure that there is sufficient space for assembly.
–
Handle exposed components with sharp edges
carefully.
–
Ensure that the assembly site is kept clean and
tidy at all times! Components and tools lying
around or on top of one another are sources of
accidents.
–
Assemble components properly. Adhere to the
required screw tightening torques.
–
Do not drill any additional holes in the lifting
column.
–
Secure components so that they do not fall down
or topple over.
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing and impacts as a result of the
profiles falling or coming loose (outer, middle,
inner profile)!
If subjected to a tensile load, the profiles of the lifting
columns may become detached from one another, and
cause injuries.
–
Secure the profiles to prevent them from coming
loose, e.g. using additional bars or chains.
–
Never install or operate the lifting column above
the head.
–
Never expose the lifting column to impulse forces
and/or impact stresses.
