MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
SUGGESTED DOCK LIFT MAINTENANCE
Daily
1.
Remove debris on and around dock lift.
2.
Check unit for proper operation.
180 Days
1.
Perform all Daily Maintenance.
2.
Clean pit.
3.
Lubricate the dock lift per chart. See figure 7.
4. Check oil level. Add oil if necessary. When adding
oil, use MV-22, MIL-H-5606 or equal.
5.
Inspect structure and hinge pins for abnormal wear.
6.
Inspect all conduit, boxes and electrical
connections for damage.
7. Check limit switch adjustment and operation (if
equipped).
• Post safety warnings and barricade work area,
at dock level and at ground level, to prevent
unauthorized use of the dock position
before maintenance has been completed.
• Make sure to engage the maintenance strut
before proceeding with any installation or
repair work.
