In order to ensure the normal running of the system, when connecting modules or
loads, please ensure that the polarity of the cable connection is correct. If the
modules are incorrectly connected, the bypass diodes and junction boxes may be
damaged. PV modules can be connected in series (Fig. 10-1), in parallel (Fig.10-2)
and in series-parallel (Fig. 10-3). The number of serial or parallel connections shall
be reasonably designed according to the system configuration. Also note that if the
number of parallel connections ≥2, there must be an over-current protection device
on each string assembly.

Different types of modules cannot be connected in series. Modules connected in
series should ensure the consistency of their current. The voltage of the module
