• Pushing START/STOP during operation will make the counter stop and WILL NOT continue
a hidden lap count.
• Push and hold LAP/RESET for 3 seconds to return to 00:00:00.

RETURN TO NORMAL TIME

Push the MODE button 4 times. (The chronograph will continue to count up even in
normal time mode.)

SETTING LOCAL HIGH TIDE :

Note 1 : Setting local HIGH TIDE information is done inside the FT mode. You must only use HIGH
TIDE information. The HIGH TIDE information can be from today or any other day, as long as the
correct Year, Month, Date and Time is programmed for that HIGH TIDE. You can use any local
tide tables from your surf shop or daily newspaper to find HIGH TIDE times. (Remember you
must complete each section of the programming within 30 seconds or the watch will return to
FT MODE and you will need to start again. So get your HIGH TIDE information prior to starting.)
Note 2 : During Daylight Saving you must always set NT mode and local HIGH TIDE information
to Standard Time, (not in Daylight Saving Time), and DO NOT add one hour to your Tide chart
time. When setting is complete, push and hold for 5 seconds the START/STOP button in NT
mode to advance for DST. At the end of DST push and hold the START/STOP button for 5 seconds
again to return to Standard Time.

• From NT mode push the MODE button four times.
• FT is displayed fifth box from the left, Month, Date, Hour and Year are
displayed.
• Hold down MODE for 3 seconds till “SET” appears in the top right corner.
The Year will also flash.
• Advance the Year of your chosen HIGH TIDE with LAP/RESET till correct. (For quick advance
hold in the LAP/RESET button)
• Push START/STOP the Month will flash, advance the Month of your chosen HIGH TIDE with
LAP/RESET till correct.
• Push START/STOP the Date will flash, advance the Date of your chosen HIGH TIDE with
LAP/RESET till correct.
• Push START/STOP the Hour will flash, advance the Hour of your chosen HIGH TIDE with
LAP/RESET till correct in AM or PM.
• Push START/STOP the Minutes will flash, advance the Minutes of your chosen HIGH TIDE
with LAP/RESET till correct.
• When all new settings are done, you must push the MODE button to save the information,
which then leaves you in the FT mode, so push the MODE button three times more to return
to NT mode. The watch will automatically compute the HIGH TIDE information you have
programmed to that of the TIDE conditions of today. This is of course as long as you have
already programmed today’s Year, Month, Date and time correctly.
