CR1288 PRISM
Optional: Controlling Case Lighting with RGB Motherboards
The CR1288 Prism’s front panel provides a quick customization at the
press of a button. However, if you have a motherboard with RGB lighting
features (ASUS Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, and MSI Mystic) then you can
control the case lighting from the motherboard and its software. The
motherboard must have RGB 4-pin connectors with the pinout
12V-G-R-B.

1. Detach the case’s RGB cable from the RGB controller and Y-cable.

2. Identify the 12V pin hole on the cable female connector. The 12V pin is
connected to the striped wire.

Check your RGB motherboards markings to find the 12V pin. Connect
the case’s RGB cable to the motherboard RGB header.

Note: The front panel logo is powered by 5V. It is connected to the RGB controller
connector marked 5V. Do NOT attach the logo cable to the motherboard.
