Such symptoms should disappear under normal temperature but care should be taken to avoid use under extreme temperatures. Refrain from using battery in a
temperature below 0
°
C. Insistence of use under such circumstance may cause battery to malfunction and decrease its life cycle.
Battery should also be refrained from use under temperatures above 45
°
C. If battery is overheated, its built-in protection system may limit use and life cycle may be
shorten. Cool battery if the warning indicator beeps due to overheating.
Even where a battery is discharged from use and shooting is no longer possible, the battery retains a certain amount of capacity to protect its system. This small
amount of capacity is maintained over 3-6months but is exhausted over time resulting in degradation of the battery. To avoid degradation, charge battery as soon as
battery exhaustion is indicated.
2.
Charger and Battery shelf life
Flash should be turned off first before charging the battery. Leaving the flash on while charging lengthens charging time as more power is consumed. Charging time is
approximately 3.5 hours with the charger provided together in the package.
A battery’s shelf life increases with frequent
charging Even if a battery is not fully exhausted, frequent charging increases shelf life and there is no Ni-ca battery
memory phenomena.
Battery should be charged under around a temperature range of 10
°
C~40
°. Charging outside the range of this temperatur
e may cause its protection system to disable
charging or to display battery as fully charged. Charge battery at room temperature whenever possible.
Charger when used for its specified purpose charges quickly and does not malfunction.
Leaving the flash on while charging lengthens charging time as more power is consumed. For
fast charging switch off flash while charging or remove battery and
charge directly.
