IMPORTANT TIPS ON USE:
• Always ensure that the end of the 4” diameter flexible hose is not completely covered or blocked,
or the machine may be ‘pulled’ suddenly towards the end of the hose.
• Completely covering or blocking the end of the 4” dust hose will restrict airflow to the motor,
which may result in overheating and damage to the motor. In addition, the increased pressure may
cause damage to the canister body.
• The 4” dust hose is intended mainly for connection to woodworking machinery to collect dry
sawdust and shavings.
It is not to be used for water clean-up.
• If the 4” dust hose is used for cleaning machinery or around the shop, make sure that the
opening is held at an angle to the surface to be cleaned. Do not allow the hose to get stuck to
the surface that is being cleaned. Restricted airflow to the motor may result in overheating and
damage to the motor. In addition, the increased pressure may cause damage to the canister body.
