7-5. Parts replacement
<Flow Sensor Replacement>
To replace the flow sensor, use the following procedure.
1. Turn off the power supply.
2. Open the cover of the drive unit and remove the sensor cap. (Use a hexagonal wrench (nominal 4).
3. Remove the sensor and insert the new sensor. Insert the sensor with the longest pin facing right.
Record the symbols (A, b, c, d, and E) printed on the sensor to be replaced.
4. After installing the sensor, attach the sensor cap and tighten the hexagon socket bolt.
NOTE
Adjustment is required after the flow sensor or pump is replaced. Please contact RIKEN KEIKI.
As a guide, replace the sensors of the pump unit with new ones every one to three years.

For the stable operation of the detector and safety, ask a qualified service engineer to take care of
replacement of the parts whose operation must be checked. Please contact our sales department.

The above replacement intervals are recommendation only. The intervals may change depending on the
conditions such as the operating environment. These intervals do not mean the warranty periods either.
The result of the regular maintenance may determine when to replace the parts.
