Save
RSA5000 allows you to save various types of f iles to the internal or external memory.
Press
Save
on the front panel to enter the file saving menu. The available f ile types
include: State, Trace+ State, Measurement Data, Limit, Screen I mage, and FMT (only
available for RTSA).
State
Press
State
to enter the state saving menu. The state can be saved to the register or
the f ile.
1. Save
Press this key to save the current state in the default f ilename or user-def ined
f ilename.
The default state f ilename is determined by the following methods:

I f you haven't input a f ilename by pressing the Save As key, its default
f ilename is state< n> .sta. Wherein, n refers to the f ile number of the
f ilenames that are named based on the naming mode in the current f ile
directory. The value of < n> is the existing maximum f ile number plus 1. For
example, if 3 f iles (state1.sta
、
state2.sta
、
state5.sta) exist in the current
directory, then the new f ilename for the f ile that you want to save should be
state6.sta by default.

I f you have pressed the
Save As
key to input the f ilename abc, then the
f ile is saved to be "abc.sta". After that, press the
Save
key again, another
f ile is saved automatically with the f ilename "abc1.sta".
2. Save As
Press this key and then use the numeric keypad on the front panel to input the
f ilename. Then, press
Save
to save the corresponding state f ile.
You can also touch the screen or use the mouse to touch or click the
Save As
menu, and then input the f ilename with the keypad.
3. Register1 through Register16
When any one of the items from Register1 to Register16 is selected, the current
state of the instrument will be saved to the corresponding register. The register
supports quick save and recalling instrument state. The register menu displays
the time for saving the instrument state.
