CAUTION :
As stated in your Service Manual, you must go to the Offi cial Rieju Shop for your fi rst ins-
pection after 1,000 km. This is essential. It is vitally important to make the appointments with the shop
as indicated on the inspection slips and request the Shop’s signature and stamp when you pick up the
vehicle.
“Failure to comply” with these instructions is immediate grounds for loss of your Vehicle Warranty.
Driving
The most important period in the life cycle of your motor-
cycle is between kilometre 0 and 500. For this reason, we
ask that you please carefully read the following instruc-
tions.
During the fi rst 1,000 km, do not overload the motorcycle
since the motorcycle is new and the different parts of the
engine wear down and smooth against each other until
reaching a state of perfect operation.
During this period, please avoid prolonged use of the en-
gine at high revolutions or under conditions that could
lead to overheating.
