If, after many years of use, the extraction unit reaches the end of its lifecycle,
then remove it and dispose of it appropriately. Disconnect the extraction
unit from the power supply by disconnecting the power from the machi-
nery. Remove the fuses from the machinery. Remove any dust and chips.
Disconnect the cables and the suction duct from the extraction unit.
The following materials are used on the extraction unit:
• Galvanized steel
• Copper (cables)
• Plastic (cables, etc)
• Polyester (filter hoses)
• Glass wool (insulation)
The extraction unit is mostly made of steel and can be recycled
in the usual manner where the various materials are separated
as much as possible so that they can be reused. Pay attention
to the applicable regulations when disposing of the unit.
Be aware of possible risk of being cut
by sharp edges and wear a dust mask
to prevent exposure to wood dust.
