MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE SAW
See Figure 45.
Unplug the saw and water pump.
Unlock table stop (turning until the slot is horizontal).
Grasp the table firmly before pulling the table to the front
and off the tool.
Once the table has been removed, throughly rinse entire
saw using a garden hose. Wipe water tray frame, cut-
ting head arm, rails and bevel feature with a soft cloth.
Lubricate rails, bevel feature and saw arm with light oil
(e.g., WD40).
Replace the drain plug. Tighten securely.
Empty dirty water from the water tank and dry off the tool.
CLEANING THE SUBMERSIBLE PUMP
Unplug pump before handling or cleaning the pump.
Remove the front cover.
Using a small brush and/or water, clean any debris or
trash that is trapped on the inside of the pump.
NOTE: To maintain efficiency and extend the life of the
pump, check intake screen before use to make sure it is
clean.
Rinse filter with clean water
If the pump will not run, try the following solutions:
Ensure that the intake screen is free of obstructions.
Make sure that the water hose isn’t clogged or knotted.
Be sure the unit is plugged into a functioning power outlet
and the pump is plugged into the electrical plug.
Be sure there is adequate water in the water tank and
that the pump switch is turned on.
NOTE: Do not handle the pump while it is connected to a
power source.
