Registering a Voice Memo
To register a voice memo, follow the steps below.
Set the Mode Dial to
5
(Shooting Mode) or
6
(Playback Mode).
Press the
O
button.
The Memo screen appears.
Press the
!"
buttons to select a voice
memo category for registration.
Press the
$
button to display the Memo List
screen.
Press the
!"
buttons to select Record.
Press the
O
button to display the Record
screen.
Press the shutter button.
Voice recording starts and can continue for up to eight
seconds. To stop voice recording halfway, half-press
the shutter button. When voice recording is stopped,
the display returns to the Memo List screen.
Press the
$
button.
The Voice Playback screen appears.

Registering/Playing Back/Changing a Voice Memo
You can register a voice memo in the camera memo list (memo file). One voice memo can be registered for
each category (up to five categories). Voice memos can be up to eight seconds long. Voice memos can be
registered even in Scene Mode. Registered voice memos can be played back/changed.
