Chapter 3 / Section 3 Shooting with Camera Memos
To view a camera memo, follow the steps below.
Turn the Mode Dial to
6
(Playback Mode).
The last still image is displayed.
For a movie, the first frame is displayed as a still
image.
Press the
#$
buttons to select a still image
and view its memo.
Press the
$
button to display the next file.
Press the
#
button to display the previous file.
Hold the
#$
buttons down for fast display and
positioning.
Press the
O
button.
A memo is displayed from the still image.
Pressing the
O
button clears the memo display and
returns the display to the original still image.
To play back (hear) a voice memo, press the
!"
buttons to select the speaker icon, and then press the
shutter button once to display the speaker screen.
Press the shutter button again to play back the voice
memo.

Viewing a Camera Memo Attached to a Still Image
You can view a camera memo attached to a still image. If a displayed still image has an attached
camera memo, a MEMO mark is displayed in the lower-right corner of the screen. If a still image has a
voice memo, you can play it back.
