- Each time before you use the machine, check the integrity of the machine and for signs of damage and
ageing. The machine should only be operated if not fully assembled or when it is not in working order.
Any damaged or defective components should be repaired or replaced immediately by a qualified
technician. Never attempt to use an incomplete, not fully assembled or modified machine.
- Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the machine is in safe working condition.
- Under no circumstances should the machine be operated while safety devices, protections guards or
shields are damaged or if safety equipment such as emergency button box is not installed
- If the shredding mechanism (blades) strikes a foreign object or the machine starts to make strange noises
or vibrates, immediately stop the machine so as to stop the shredding device.
- Keep a safe distance from the ejection zone.
During use
- Use the machine in daylight or with adequate illumination (good artificial light).
- Never operate the machine on damp areas or wet grass.
- Do NOT use the machine on slope areas or uneven ground.
- Keep the chute outlet and engine ventilation holes (cooling air inlets) unobstructed, clear of debris and clean
at all times.
- Do not overreach. Bear in mind that the force generated by the machine can make you lose your balance.
Therefore, keep proper footing and good balance at all times when operating the machine.
- NEVER insert or place your hand or arm or any other part of the body in the insertion hopper.
- NEVER position yourself in front of the discharge chute.
- Do not assume of your knowledge of the machine. Remember that a split second of negligence is sufficient to
cause serious damage. Be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for potential hazards that you may not
hear while operating the product.
