After use
•
Clean the tool surface.

5.3- Tips
•
Never use the lawn shear near power lines, fencing, posts, buildings, or other immovable
objects.
•
Do not force the tool through heavy grass or shrubbery. This can cause the blades to bind
and slow down.

Do not attempt to cut stems or twigs that are larger than

8 mm.
•
Setup a string line between stout poles could make sure the sides and top of your hedge are
straight.
•
For cutting a long hedge, use hedge trimmer.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the “OFF” position
and remove the battery pack.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
•
Clean the machine body with a dry clean cloth.
•
Clean the metal blade with a stiff brush or a dry clean cloth.
•
Do not use water, detergent or solvent for cleaning any parts of the tool.
•
Never immerse the machine in water or any liquids.
6.2- Lubricating the blade
•
For easier operation and longer blade life, lubricate the blades before and after every use.
•
Stop the tool and remove the battery pack.
•
Lay the tool on a flat surface.
•
Apply light machine lubricant along the edge of the blade.
6.3- Storage
•
Clean the product and remove the battery and restore the protective cover before storage.
•
Lubricate the blade and bevel gear.
•
For prolonged storage, charge the battery every 3 months.
•
Keep product, instruction manual and accessories (if any) in the original packaging.
•
Store the product in a clean environment, where is not freezing or too hot (45 ̊C).
•
Keep out of reach of children (e.g. lock it up).
6.4- Disposal
•
Do not dispose with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
•
Dispose of the product in a collecte centre for waste of electrical and electronic equipment,
or a waste drop-off centre; or seek advice from your local municipality.
•
Proceed with disposal of the tool, accessories and packaging according to local regulations
regarding the protection of the environment.
