4.7- Installing/removing the blades (Fig. 5)
•
This power tool equipped with 2 type of blades: 1) trimmer blade and 2) shear blade.
•
WARNING!
Remove the battery pack to avoid unintentional starting of the tool.
•
Turn over the tool as illustrated in Fig. 5.
•
Lift the cover lock with thumb.
•
Slide the blade cover backward.
•
Remove the blade cover.
•
Remove and install the suitable blade into the tool.
•
Make sure the blade is properly positioned in the tool, then restore the blade cover.
•
Push the blade cover forward until it is locked in position.

4.8- Switch On/Off
•
To start the tool, push the lock-off button (2), then pull the trigger switch (7).
•
To stop the tool, release the trigger switch.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
This tool is intended for light trimming of shrubs and lawn edges in domestic use. This is not
intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
5.2- Operation
Before start
•
Make sure the trigger lock works properly.
•
Make sure the blade is sharp and properly installed.
•
Make sure battery pack is sufficiently charged and properly installed.
•
Check and clear the area for any hidden object, like rocks, wild animals.
•
Remove thick twigs or stems (diameter larger than 8 mm) with pruner.
Operating the tool
•
Depending on the application, stand or kneel in a stable position next to the cutting area.
•
Firmly grasp the handle and start the tool.
•
Start cutting in sweeping action (from side to side).
•
If the balde hit a hard object, stop the tool. Remove the battery pack and inspect the blade
for damage.
