OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

After assembly, test to make sure that all bed sections are properly and 

securely installed and operate correctly BEFORE use. 

Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by the head or 

near children or physically challenged adults. 

Pendant Control

NOTE: In the event of a power failure, the 9V battery will allow the head 

and foot sections to be lowered. It will not lift the head or foot sections.

Optional Fixed Leg Height Adjustment

Hand Crank for Semi Electric Bed and Full Bed (Located at foot of bed)

Use the 4 Locking Pins to lock the height of the legs at a fixed setting.  

Before attempting to manually adjust the bed height, make sure to 

remove the optional height adjustment lock pins from each leg if being used. 
To raise the bed, turn the hand crank clockwise. 

To lower the bed, turn the hand crank counter-clockwise. 

When using the emergency hand crank with the full electric bed during 

power outages, be sure to remove Hand Crank and clip it back to the Foot Board. 

If left in place, it will turn when motor is running and could cause personal injury 

or damage to the bed. 

Secure the pendant and power cords properly so that they do not become 

damaged during operation and do not present a tripping hazard. NEVER operate 

the bed if these cords are damaged.
