Connecting the Head Spring and Foot Spring
Place the head spring and foot spring on their
sides at a 90° angle. Attach the mounting
hooks on the foot spring to the mounting rivets
on the head spring (Fig. 1).
Slide the Hi/Low shaft through the hanger
bracket and insert the spring loaded end into
the Hi/Low Motor at the foot section of the
bed, then slide the lock collar 1/4” from the
foot side of the hanger bracket and tighten
the thumb screw (Fig. 2).

Straighten the bed and extend the Hi/Low Shaft to the end of the bed. The shaft is
marked with settings for Full and Semi lengths.
Lay the bed flat with the springs on top. Raise the head spring to provide slack in
the springs and attach spring fabric halves together using the spring hooks
attached to the foot spring fabric.
