MAINTENANCE

GEARBOX

The gearbox should be full (18 ounces) 0.54 liters
and not require additional lubricant unless the box
is cracked or a seal is leaking. It is recommended
that the hex oil level check plug

(Figure MntP-R-

0020)

be removed to check oil level after every 8

hours of operation. If required, oil should be added
until it runs out hole.

Recommended lubricant is Multi-purpose gear oil,
P/N 00786250.

NOTE: Make sure mower is level when checking oil
in the gearbox. Gearbox capacity is 1 Quart.

NOTE: Overfilling of Gearbox will cause pressure to build up and cause Grease Seals to leak.
