Isolate power, remove the Element
Plug and recommence full diagnosis
from the
General Fault Diagnosis Chart.

– Ambient is utilised if
the ambient temperature is outside the
heat pump‟s operating limits.
Normal Operation
Reset the heat pump using the
reset button, and use the proxy
sensor or draw off water to initiate
a call for heating.
Does the evaporator fan come on
at the same time as the
compressor, and run in the
correct direction at full speed?

Is the airflow obstructed?

Remove the obstruction.

1.Clean the evaporator coil.
2. Ensure the air path around the heat
pump is clear and the heat pump is
not installed in an enclosed room.
